Courtney is an amateur photographer who has had an interest in photography from a very early age. By the age of 13, she had decided that she wanted to do photography professionally. Since then, she has devoted much of her free time to her to her art. In a local photography contest she has placed every year she entered. She won first place in 2007 and 2008. In 2009 she won second place. In 2010, she won both first place and Best in Show. In 2011, she entered another local art show and won in her division. She takes a wide range of photographs, but her favorite subjects are wildlife and water.
Currently in addition to selling prints of her work, she takes a wide range of commissioned work. She takes senior photos, family portraits, and social events to name a few. In order to further her skill, she is currently working as an assistant to a wedding photographer and plans on attending photography school this fall.
